Stone
A natural and noble material, stone has always been used to manufacture kitchens. The stone reflects the mountain: there you choose the best piece, you analyse it and then, based on the project, the piece is processed and recomposed in another form.
What renders a kitchen unique is starting with a single piece of stone: this very piece, cut out of a mountain,
finds a new life within a home, it regains energy, settles in and becomes part of the new home itself. Then, the detail of a particular vein in the stone turns it into a jewel. The selection of the piece to be used for an important work surface or for cooking equipment is the result of a sensation, deriving from an emotional impact, it exalts a sort of symbiotic relation between the noble
material and the craftsman-artist who works it. The processing methods are very important, for example revealing an open vein by the fold opening of a single block where the vein is not split, but remains continuous and complete within the material. More than 100 types of natural stone and granite are used, including white and purple porphyry, Calacatta, Portoro and Statuario.
